It was a day filled with pride, joy, and excitement as Pherry Junior School held its Speech day and Graduation Ceremony, marking an important milestone in the lives of our learners and a remarkable close of the year. Many students from the different classes were involved. The Whole School Management, PTA among others were in attendance.
The Speech day and graduation was graced by the Management Committee members, led by the Chairman of the Management Committee and Dr. Juliet Atwebembeire among others alongside respected parents’ representatives, including Lieutenant Kiyemba Ronald. We were also honored by the presence of distinguished guests such as Dr. Malunda Paul, whose support and encouragement added great value to the occasion.
Special recognition goes to our dedicated school leadership, led by the Headteacher, Mr. Julius Kiwema, together with the committed teaching and non-teaching staff, whose hard work and guidance continue to shape confident, disciplined, and motivated learners. Teacher Babirye Doreen for the great efforts of preparing the graduands of the day together with the rest of the team that worked together.

The atmosphere throughout the Graduation ceremony reflected a deep sense of pride in achievement and excitement for the future. As our graduates take the next step in their educational journey, we celebrate not only their academic success but also the character, values, and confidence they have developed during their time at Pherry Junior School. Pherry Speech Day
The speech day featured several presentations, dances, poems, skits and plays among others that were presented by the pupils from the different classes. Guided by their teachers, the pupils showcased great talent and skills. The event was crowned with a yummy cake that was enjoyed (read devoured) by the Pupils, Parents, teachers, and other guests
The New Building
It is also during this ceremony that the Directors unveiled the new building block that has been under construction at the school. This building is a significant extension of the great education that is provided at Pherry Junior School.
The Directors further added that the new building is to help accommodate more learners and this is a response to the parents that have always found vacancies filled. “Now we have more vacancies available…” Director Silvia Okite added. Applications are now open and we are admitting
